Wilson’s Country Ltd in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, is hiring a Full Time Production Team Lead to oversee a production line, ensure product quality, and meet despatch deadlines. This hands-on role develops a small team and ensures safe, efficient operations.

You will monitor machine performance, input data, complete production records, and implement improvements. The role offers full-time permanent employment with pay around £13.54 per hour, along with benefits including holiday entitlement,

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
• Some responsibility for operating machinery or leading colleagues on the shop floor.
• Practical understanding of production processes, quality checks and health & safety practices.
• Good communication and basic record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and reliably meet attendance requirements.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Efficient and effective set up of the machinery with the correct packaging and operating program and data input (e.g. label information - dates, variety, packing codes);
• Monitoring the machines efficiencies and carrying out changeovers for different products throughout the day;
• Working within food safety and health and safety standards and maintaining good output levels;
• Completing the production documentation as per procedure
• Overseeing and assisting a small team on the production line

Full Time Production Team Lead

Based in Craigavon, Co. Armagh, Wilson’s Country Ltd specialises in pre-packed, peeled and prepared potatoes. We supply food retailers, caterers and food processing companies with a range of products, offering quality, taste, full traceability and value for money.

Due to our continued success and business growth we arerecruiting a Full Time Production Team Lead based in Craigavon, County Armagh. This hands-on role overseesa production line, producing products to the correct quality standards within despatch deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Efficient and effective set up of the machinery with the correct packaging and operating program and data input (e.g. label information - dates, variety, packing codes);
• Monitoring the machines efficiencies and carrying out changeovers for different products throughout the day;
• Working within food safety and health and safety standards and maintaining good output levels;
• Completing the production documentation as per procedure
• Overseeing and assisting a small team on the production line

There are opportunities to develop and become a multi-skilled operator. Training and ongoing support from supervisors will be provided.

Essential skills and experience

• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
• Some prior responsibility for operating machinery, or leading colleagues on the shopfloor.
• Practical understanding of production processes, quality checks and health & safety practices.
• Good communication and basic record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and reliably meet attendance requirements.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

What Wilson's Country offers

The role is offered on a Full-time, Permanent basis.

Pay for this role is £13.54 per hour.
