Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting Teaching Assistants for a large mainstream primary school and nursery in the Middlesbrough area. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30–3:30, with responsibilities including general TA support and occasional 1:1 and small-group helping.

Candidates should have TA qualifications or equivalent experience and be comfortable supporting pupils across EYFS to KS2, with DBS checks up to date or willingness to obtain a new one.

Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant Qualification or Equivalent Degree/Experience
• Experience working in a school or nursery
• Be confident working with small groups
• DBS check (update service) or willing to apply for a new one with Connex

Responsibilities

• Provide general teaching assistant support across primary age groups
• Deliver some 1:1 support and small group sessions when required
