Job summary

JobsinED is partnering with a Brent Primary school in North West London to appoint a Primary Teaching Assistant from September. This full-time role runs until July 2027, offering £100–£115 per day and excellent classroom experience for graduates aiming at teacher training.

You will support learning, deliver interventions and assist teachers across the primary curriculum, building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Qualifications

• High-achieving graduate with a 2:1 or First-Class degree.
• Strong GCSE and A Level results.
• Aspiring primary teacher seeking long-term classroom experience.
• Confident, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Available to commit full-time until July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across the primary curriculum.
• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
• Encourage pupils’ confidence, participation and progress.
