Job summary

Engage Education in Hemel is seeking a Pastoral Support Officer in a supportive secondary school. You will mentor pupils and provide targeted support to engage learning and reduce disruptions.

The role involves working closely with teachers and other support staff, giving feedback to teachers and parents, and assisting pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD and other learning difficulties. This is a full-time position with opportunities for development and CPD.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other learning needs.
• Ability to engage pupils one-to-one or in small groups.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• One-to-one or small-group support with pupils in a secondary setting.
• Collaborate with teachers to engage pupils and minimise disruption.
• Provide feedback to teachers and parents on pupil progress.
• Support pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD and other learning difficulties.
