Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner for an Early Years setting in West Bridgford (NG2). The role involves supporting the EYFS, planning engaging activities, and promoting independent learning in a nurturing environment.

You will work full-time with shifts starting at 8:00am or ending around 6:00pm, and contribute to child development through play-based learning and personal care when required.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Childcare qualification or at least 6 months of relevant Early Years experience.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child-led learning.
• Experience delivering continuous provision, purposeful play, and small-group activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the EYFS curriculum and plan engaging activities.
• Facilitate learning through continuous provision and small-group sessions.
• Support personal care and promote independence for children.
• Build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
• Comply with safeguarding and wellbeing requirements.
