Job Overview

This lovely family based in Kings Cross, London, is seeking a Full‑time Nanny‑Housekeeper to maintain a clean and tidy home while caring for their baby, due in March, and their school‑aged child. Someone who speaks Swedish would be a small bonus. The role involves all general nanny and housekeeping duties. Split‑shift hours would be an advantage for candidates who live locally within walking distance. It would also be a bonus if the candidate is able to work both weekend days and some weekdays to complete 40 hours per week. Cooking is optional. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: 4 weekdays, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. One weekend day, full day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bath time routine
• Dress the children
• Feeding them
• Cleaning them up after every meal
• Taking them to playdates
• Preparing various age‑appropriate activities
• Playing with them
• Helping the other children with homework
• Making sure they are always happy and safe
• Changing nappies and helping the little one with potty/toilet training
• Teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
• Take care of the household
• Cooking for the family
• Making sure the toilet and bathroom are clean
• Doing the grocery shopping and errands
• Organising cupboards and changing bedsheets
