Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for long-term, full-time roles across Caerphilly, starting September 2026. You will join welcoming primary schools and support children's learning from the start of the new academic year.

Ideal candidates hold Level 3 Teaching and Supporting Learning qualification (or equivalent) with experience in Primary settings, a proactive approach, and strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching and Supporting Learning qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience as Level 3 Teaching Assistant within a Primary School.
• A proactive and nurturing approach.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support students in primary classrooms to aid learning and development.
• Assist with behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and follow school policies.
