Job summary

Harbour Healthcare’s Regency Hall Care Home is seeking a Head Chef on a full-time basis. You will lead kitchen operations, plan menus, manage budgets, and supervise staff to deliver high-quality meals for residents with attention to dietary needs.

This role requires care-sector experience and formal catering and food safety qualifications. You will ensure robust health and safety practices, maintain records, and work with the activities team on special events while supporting the home's culinary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care setting.
• Qualification in catering.
• Qualification in food safety/hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Manage kitchen operations including ordering supplies, preparation and maintaining quality standards.
• Supervise staff and schedule rotas; manage budgets for the kitchen.
• Plan menus and monitor food safety checks and cleanliness.
• Adhere to company policies and health & safety procedures; collaborate with activities team for events.
