Job summary

Sodexo Group in Bulford, Wiltshire is recruiting an experienced Cook for a full-time role with consistent hours on a 40-hour contract.

You'll prepare, cook and serve fresh meals for military personnel, maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, and work as part of a friendly catering team. Regular shifts are 05:30–14:00 or 11:00–19:30 across 5 days of 7, with £12.99 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook or Chef in catering or hospitality.
• Culinary qualifications desirable such as City & Guilds or NVQ.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen team.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and basic MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve fresh, high-quality meals in a busy kitchen.
• Maintain presentation, quality and consistency of every dish.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards (EHO compliant).
• Work with a catering team to deliver efficient service.
• Prepare meals for military personnel with a reliable dining experience.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized and ready for service.
• Support events and functions, showcasing cooking skills.
• Handle bulk cooking while maintaining high standards.
