Sodexo Group in Bulford, Wiltshire is hiring a full-time Cook to join a professional catering team serving military personnel. The role offers 40 hours per week across varied shifts (06:00–15:00 and 12:00–20:30) with five days out of seven.

You will prepare, cook and serve high-quality meals, maintain food safety standards, and contribute to a friendly, efficient service. The package includes benefits and opportunities for career development within a large organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or chef in catering or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene, with health & safety standards.
• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2/3 desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Basic IT skills including Word/Excel/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve fresh meals for a busy kitchen.
• Ensure quality, presentation and consistency of every dish.
• Follow HACCP, hygiene and safety standards.
• Work as part of a catering team to deliver reliable service.
• Support events and bulky cooking when required.
• Keep kitchen clean and organised for service.
