Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker for Beacon House in West Yorkshire. The role involves 12-hour shifts over a 2-week rolling rota, full-time hours, and weekend work to support residents with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

The role emphasises person-centred care, safeguarding, and helping residents access community activities. DBS check is required and there are opportunities for learning and progression.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs.
• Safeguard.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
• Support service users to access the community and activities.
• Engage service users in tasks like cooking & cleaning to support growth.
