Haddington Care Home is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide person‑centred care for residents. You will assist with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, following care plans to support dignity and wellbeing.

Full training is provided; experienced carers welcome, but not essential. A supportive team and development opportunities help you grow in a caring, patient‑focused environment at Haddington Care Home.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable with a positive attitude; willing to learn.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsabilités

• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans, recognise changes in condition and contribute to safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm environment where residents feel valued.
