Job summary

Dimensions is hiring a full-time Support Worker in Luton to assist a gentleman in his late thirties who lives independently. You will support daily living, including medication, meals and personal care, with a person-centred approach that promotes independence.

Flexibility is essential; shifts include 7:30am–10:00pm and 10:00am–7:00pm, with regular weekend work. You will collaborate with family and external partners while maintaining professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with autism and sensory-based support.
• Ability to use person-centred approaches to develop skills and independence.
• Effective communication and ability to build positive professional relationships.
• Ability to manage challenging or sensitive conversations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with all aspects of daily living, including medication, meal planning and personal hygiene.
• Support is centred around encouragement, guidance and respectful oversight to promote independence.
• Work closely with family and external partners, maintaining professional boundaries.
