Dimensions is seeking a patient, compassionate Support Worker to join our Shrewsbury team (SY5). You will assist two young men with autism, Down syndrome and learning disabilities with daily routines, meals, transport, and community activities, while promoting their independence.

A full UK driving licence and flexibility with shifts are essential. The role offers part-time hours (30/week) with sleep-ins and enhanced pay for overtime.)

• Confident communicator with people and families.
• Patient, observant and person-centred approach.
• Interest in learning Makaton and using it in care.
• Reliable, adaptable and willing to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support with daily routines and meals.
• Assist with medication administration and community activities.
• Support independence and goal achievement for two service users.
• Balance activity with respecting quiet time and personal space.
