Job summary

Intellectual Capital Resources in Cambridge is seeking a seasoned Full-stack Software Engineer to develop and scale our public-facing web platform. You will work across UI and backend layers using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Go or Python, and contribute to design-first, GraphQL-based services.

You will join cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, onsite environment at our Cambridge office, delivering high-quality software while owning features end-to-end, with exposure to Kubernetes and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full-stack Software Engineer or in a similar development role, with at least 4+ years of experience in full-stack web application development
• Concrete experience in UI development with TypeScript
• Concrete experience in backend development with Node.js, Go, or Python
• Understanding of common software design principles and patterns
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and system workflows
• Ability to communicate clearly with other engineers and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong sense of product ownership
• Advanced knowledge of front-end development using TypeScript and React
• Experience in Next.js is a plus
• Proficient in developing backend services with Node or Go/Python
• Experience designing web services with a top-down, schema-first approach
• Experience in GraphQL is a significant plus
• Understanding of common relational databases such as MySQL
• Experience in containerized development, CI/CD, and Kubernetes is a plus
• Good understanding of Elasticsearch is beneficial

Job description

Salary: £59,000 - 99,000 per year

Requirements:
