Job summary

CircuitHub is hiring full-time onsite at our Cambridge, UK facility to build and scale our automated factory. You’ll design, deploy and deliver both physical and software systems, and continually optimise for throughput.

We’re seeking engineers who can integrate software, hardware and process, build complete robotic systems, and debug under real production pressure. Beckhoff TwinCAT experience is a plus; we value autonomy and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in creating and adjusting PLC code under pressure (Beckhoff TwinCat preferred).
• Ability to diagnose complex system failures from first principles and implement fixes quickly.
• Experience prototyping mechanical and software fixes on the fly in a production-like environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and communicate clearly with a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Configure and debug a distributed GigE vision system.
• Analyze end effector behavior from video to optimise throughput and reliability.
• Specify, test and deploy sensors for monitoring a chemical process.
• Commission new robotic systems and debug their control cabinets.
