Job summary

Confidential | Elite Global Hedge Fund in Central London (Mayfair) seeks an exceptional Full Stack Software Engineer to build high-performance applications for investment decision-making, trading, portfolio management and risk.

You will own end-to-end design and delivery, work across the stack with C#/.NET and/or Java, shape scalable architectures, and collaborate directly with senior investment professionals to translate complex financial requirements into robust, reliable software.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET or Java and API design.
• Deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms and performance.
• Experience with real-time data, trading systems and risk visualization is a plus.
• Ability to design end-to-end architectures from front-end to back-end.
• Background in finance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop business-critical applications for investment professionals.
• Engineer scalable backend services and APIs.
• Design UIs for real-time financial data and trading workflows.
• Address large datasets, asynchronous processing and low latency.
• Take end-to-end ownership of design, development, testing and production delivery.
• Collaborate with senior investment professionals to translate requirements.
