Job summary

Templeton & Partners - Innovative & Inclusive Hiring Solutions in London is seeking an early-career Full Stack Engineer to join the Automation & Analytics team. You’ll work across backend services, APIs, databases and cloud environments, with Python and SQL at the core.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, data pipelines and AI-enabled applications, and contribute to client projects while developing into a well-rounded engineer.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' commercial experience in software engineering, full-stack development or data engineering.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services, including deployment and operational support.
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data orchestration tools.
• Experience working with production systems.
• Experience developing backend services and/or REST APIs.
• Experience with databases and data-intensive applications.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD.
• Commercial exposure to AWS and/or Azure, with AWS experience particularly valuable.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend APIs and services using Python.
• Design and integrate APIs and server-side applications.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases.
• Contribute to front-end development where required.
• Build, maintain and optimise data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Work with data warehouses, data lakes and analytics-ready platforms.
• Ensure data quality, reliability and performance.
• Take ownership of production data applications and improve them.
