Tenzo Limited in London is seeking a mid–senior backend and frontend engineer to join our APA team. You’ll own feature development from Django API to React UI, focusing on real-time analytics and BI capabilities that power restaurant operators.
The role emphasizes performance on large data sets, SQL optimization, and collaboration with product and design. Hybrid work at our Marylebone office, plus strong benefits and career growth in a fast‑growing company.
Location: Marylebone, London (Hybrid)
Job type: Full time
At Tenzo, we’re transforming the way restaurants operate. Our Restaurant Reporting & Intelligence platform brings together data from multiple systems to deliver real-time, actionable insights - helping operators boost sales, cut waste, and run smoother businesses. As one of our customers put it, “It’s helped us make smarter, faster decisions and spot opportunities we might have missed before.”
We’re a team of hospitality enthusiasts and tech builders backed by top-tier Silicon Valley investors and guided by experienced advisors including Jane O'Riordan and Floor Bleeker. We work with 200+ logos including leading hospitality brands like IHG hotels, Knoops, JKS, and Time Out Markets across Asia, Africa, North America, Europe, and Australia — and we’re just getting started. Join us on our mission to help restaurants around the world move from surviving to thriving.
You’ll join the APA (Analyse, Predict & Act) team that owns everything customers actually look at: the web app, the mobile app, the metrics engine behind our analytics cards, the scheduled reports, and our AI and MCP services.
A typical feature means adding a query capability to a Django service, exposing it through an API, then building the interface for it in React. You own that whole path. Right now that means a big push on our BI capabilities, covering new chart types, heatmaps, drilldowns and a reworked dashboard grid, plus targets and budgets, a semantic layer, and AI features including a chat over a customer's own data.
A Quick Note on Tech Stacks: You won't have used everything in our stack. Strong depth in Python and React, paired with the drive to pick up new tools quickly, is what counts most.
Tenzo is committed to improving the general well-being of our team members. As our 'Passionate about our people' value states: we aim to create a supportive and diverse environment for our people to grow. Working as part of a small team, you will benefit from a level of responsibility from the get-go. We also commit to a dedicated time for personal development and clear career progression in an exciting time of growth and development of the company.
Tenzo is an equal‑opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, age, veteran status, or disability status.
