Job summary

AdvancedMD is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to lead and contribute to the Hosted Payment Pages team in the UK. You will build scalable, secure features across frontend and backend, collaborate across squads, and participate in on-call rotations for highly available services.

The role emphasizes modern tech, including React, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, and Docker, with a strong focus on testing (JUnit, Cucumber, Jest) and quality-driven delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with front-end technologies, such as React, Webpack, TypeScript, Redux and Material UI.
• Experience building and operating large scale and highly available microservices deployed to the cloud.
• Experience building microservices with latest versions of Docker, Spring Boot and Java.
• Experience with unit testing and BDD frameworks, such as JUnit, Cucumber and Jest.
• An engineering mindset focused on quality regardless of the activity.
• An agile mindset where you will drive both your squad and the wider tribe towards better ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively develop the features and engineering capabilities for Hosted Payment Pages.
• Collaborate in all stages of development from requirement discussions with the Product Owner to cloud deployment.
• Join the on-call rota to support the highly available products developed by the squad.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers from other squads to decide technologies, patterns and approaches.
• You simplify the complex and create a bigger impact for colleagues and customers.
