Job summary

Revolution Technology Ltd seeks a backend-focused full-stack engineer with strong Go (Golang) capabilities and Vue.js frontend skills. You will build robust RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and scalable data models while driving quality and collaboration across teams.

This hybrid role offers 2–8 days per month in the office, requires the right to work in the UK, and initially runs 3–6 months with extension potential.

Qualifications

• Expert Go backend development with RESTful APIs and gRPC.
• Strong Vue.js/Nuxt.js frontend integration and full-stack delivery.
• Experience designing scalable SQL/NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Proven senior/lead-level engineering experience and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are working with a global digital business who are looking for a Backend focused Full-Stack Engineer with strong proficiency in Golang.

Key Skills:

• Full-Stack Development: Expert in Vue.js/Nuxt.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML/CSS and strong GoLang Back End development, including RESTful APIs and gRPC
• Scalable & Reliable Systems: Experience with database design (SQL/NoSQL), performance optimisation, automated testing, debugging, containerisation and deployment, with a focus on scalability
• Senior Engineering & AI-Driven Development: Proven Senior/Lead-level experience, strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, plus experience with Agentic Development and Spec-Driven Development.

Contract Details:

• This position will be paying up to £430 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
• Initial 3-6 Month contract with high likelihood for extension
• Flexible hybrid structure - 2-8 days per month in office
• Must have the right to work in the UK without needing visa sponsorship
