Job summary

The Shore Group is seeking an experienced full‑stack engineer to join a small, impact‑driven team in the UK. You will build customer‑facing and internal applications using NodeJS, React and TypeScript, delivering features end‑to‑end with modern tooling and a hands‑off management style.

You’ll work on secure, scalable systems, contribute to architecture decisions, mentor junior developers, and help shape the technical roadmap as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 5 years of software engineering experience, ideally with full-stack focused roles.
• Proven experience building production applications with React & NodeJS.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MS SQL/MySQL).
• Experience writing well maintained, testable code using Vitest or Jest.
• Familiarity with RBAC authentication frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using NodeJS, React & Typescript.
• Deliver end-to-end features from requirements to production deployment.
• Implement testing, monitoring and observability for production reliability.
• Apply security best practices aligned to ISO 27001 standards.
• Contribute to technical documentation and issue tracking.
