Job summary

PinPoint Middleware Test Company in Jersey is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain web applications that solve real problems for our users. You will work across the stack, ship features end-to-end, and collaborate closely with product and design.

You'll review pull requests, debug issues, and help maintain documentation and tests. The role requires 2+ years across production web apps and proficiency in a backend language (Ruby/Python/Go) plus a modern frontend framework

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production web applications.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g. Ruby, Python, Go) and one frontend framework (React, Vue).
• Comfortable with relational databases and version control (Git).
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• A pragmatic, ship-it mindset with a bias for simple solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and ship features in production code.
• Review pull requests and contribute to a healthy engineering culture.
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack.
• Collaborate with product and design on requirements and trade-offs.
• Maintain and improve existing systems, including documentation and tests.
