Job summary

PinPoint Middleware Test Company in Jersey is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain web applications that solve real problems for users. You'll work across the stack, ship features end-to-end, and collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers on a small, focused team.

The role involves reviewing pull requests, debugging across the stack, and maintaining existing systems with good documentation and tests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production web applications.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g. Ruby, Python, Go) and one frontend framework (e.g. React/Vue).
• Comfortable with relational databases and Git.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and ship features in production code.
• Review pull requests and contribute to a healthy engineering culture.
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack.
• Collaborate with product and design on requirements and trade-offs.
• Maintain and improve existing systems, including documentation and tests.
