Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a backend engineer to design and implement scalable services driven by OpenAPI specifications. You will work with Python, Go, or Java and integrate schema-driven UIs, API gateways, and GitOps workflows.

You''ll configure Kong, Envoy, or Akamai/CloudFront, ensure drift detection and reconciliation, and collaborate across teams using CLI and code-editor tooling to onboard gateways.

Qualifications

• Experience building API-driven backends and schemas.
• Proficient in at least one backend language (Python, Go, Java).
• Experience configuring API gateways (Kong, Envoy, Akamai/CloudFront).
• Hands-on GitOps delivery and automated rollback processes.
