Job summary

Dabster in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced API Management Technical Lead to drive design and implementation of API platforms in a cloud-native environment.

You will lead architecture across BFSI projects, collaborate with DevOps, and ensure production stability using Apigee, Kong or MuleSoft, OpenAPI/REST, and AWS services.

Candidates should be proficient with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native patterns to deliver reliable, scalable APIs.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of API management experience in BFSI sector.
• Advanced programming in Golang or Lua.
• Hands-on with API management platforms: Apigee, Kong, or MuleSoft.
• Strong knowledge of OpenAPI (OAS) and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Cloud-native architecture and production stability.
• Familiarity with AWS ECS/EKS/MSK and Kong API Gateway.
• Understanding of CDN, WAF and networking for APIs.

We are looking for an experienced API Management Technical Lead with strong expertise in API platforms, cloud-native technologies, and DevOps.

• 6–8 years of relevant experience with BFSI domain experience mandatory
• Advanced programming skills in Golang or Lua
• Strong hands-on experience in API Management platforms such as Apigee, Kong, or MuleSoft
• Strong understanding of OpenAPI Specification (OAS) and RESTful APIs
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Practical experience in cloud-native architecture and application development
• Experience across system design, development, testing, and production/operational stability
• Strong understanding of automation and continuous delivery
• Good knowledge of financial services IT systems
