Morgan McKinley in the UK is helping a global healthcare and diagnostics organisation hire a Full-Stack Developer to build and evolve a new digital platform. You'll work across frontend and backend, integrating with internal systems and partners, ensuring a polished UX for high volumes of data in a product-led, agile environment.
This role offers hybrid working with London office presence 2–3 days per week and a chance to influence engineering practices early in a major digital transformation.
We’re working with a well-established, global healthcare and diagnostics organisation that is undergoing an exciting digital transformation. They are building a new digital product that will fundamentally change how healthcare professionals interact with laboratory services.
The product is a sophisticated, customer-facing web application designed to become the single digital platform for clients — bringing together test ordering, results, reporting, invoicing, courier management, patient communications and more into one seamless experience.
The first version of the platform is currently being developed by a leading digital agency, with the internal product and engineering team taking ownership as it moves into its next phase of growth.
This is an opportunity to join early and play a key role in shaping both the product and the engineering practices around it.
As a Full-Stack Developer, you’ll be one of the key hands‑on engineers responsible for developing and continuously improving the platform.
You’ll work across both frontend and backend development, building integrations with a range of internal systems and external partners while ensuring large volumes of complex data are presented through a clean, intuitive user experience.
You’ll have significant scope to influence the technical direction of the product, working in an agile, product‑led environment where new features are released incrementally and continuously improved based on user feedback.
We’re looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer who enjoys building real products used by customers, rather than purely internal applications.
You’ll ideally have experience with:
Experience within financial services, healthcare or another data‑intensive environment would be advantageous, particularly where you have worked with complex transactional data.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with strong product and engineering instincts — someone who cares about how software looks and feels as well as how it works, and who can point to products they have helped build and deliver into the real world.
If you're a Full-Stack Developer looking for the opportunity to build something genuinely impactful from an early stage, this could be a great next step.
