Job description

As the Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing backend systems in Python and frontend components using React. This will involve creating and integrating APIs, and developing React user interfaces whilst working with other team members to ensure the platform is scalable and efficient.

An independently owned software company developing solutions for customers within the transport and logistics sectors.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of Python and React Development experience
• Experience with Flask or FastAPI and TypeScript preferably
• The ability to write quality reusable and maintainable code
• Good knowledge of RESTful APIs
• TDD or BDD experience
• Good knowledge of version control

Responsibilities:

• Developing and designing backend systems as well as frontend components
• Creating and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Participating in code reviews
• Writing quality, reusable and maintainable code

Nice to have skills and experience:

• NoSQL database knowledge e.g. MongoDB or DynamoDB
• AWS or other cloud technologies
• Serverless architecture
• Experience with GraphQL
• Scrum and Extreme Programming (XP) experience
