Job summary

Citigroup in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is seeking a software developer with strong Java, Angular, and Oracle experience. The role sits in a global tech team supporting the ASPEN asset servicing platforms, with a hybrid work model allowing up to 2 days from home per week.

You will collaborate in an agile environment to enhance applications, identify vulnerabilities, and implement secure, scalable solutions while meeting deadlines and adapting to changing requirements.

Qualifications

• Experienced in Java, Angular, and Oracle databases.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing and interpreting code.
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
• Work within our global tech team adopting an agile way of working.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging.
• Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions.
