Job Summary

You will work closely with Merlin’s customers. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to operate in a dynamic environment, continuing to shape and develop the product to meet customer needs.

The workload is driven by the customer and planned in DevOps, where we work using agile software development methodologies. The successful applicant will:

1. Attend regular team meetings to discuss ongoing and future projects.
2. Develop user stories.
3. Conduct user acceptance testing with the customer.

This is a challenging yet highly fulfilling role.

About You:

Must-have criteria:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant programming experience
• Degree-level qualification
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript, Python, C#, PHP, SQL, VB
• Relational database experience, ideally with PostgreSQL
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Additional desirable criteria:

• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with GIT
• Experience and knowledge of working in an AWS cloud infrastructure

Where

4 days a week at Chesterfield Office, 1 day of smart working
