Tesco PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Shift Leader to join our store team. You will work in a fast paced retail environment where no two days are the same, taking ownership by coordinating a small team to deliver excellent service.

You will coach colleagues on the job, monitor team performance, and drive practical improvements while ensuring the area remains a safe place to work and shop for customers and staff alike.

Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It's our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you. The table shows the periods of time in the week we'd like you to be available to work - the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you'll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. • You will be responsible for As a Shift Leader, you will be working in a fast paced retail environment where no day is the same. As the customer is at the heart of everything we do, you will be constantly looking for ways to improve service in your store through on the job coaching and feedback You will have a great understanding of how your team is performing and be the expert in delivering practical actions for its improvement by taking a hands on approach.
