Job summary

Speedy Hire in Milton Keynes is seeking a dynamic Fulfilment and Asset Manager to lead depot operations, control costs and uphold safety standards. You will oversee stock, equipment and asset allocation on hire contracts while driving performance.

The role requires people leadership, decision-making and a proactive approach to process improvement, with a focus on training, audits and contractor coordination. Hybrid working options are available and a clear career path within the Speedy Group.

Responsibilities

• Ensure depot targets and budgets are met and costs controlled.
• Maintain high operational standards and depot appearance.
• Oversee stock, transfers and ARP processes.
• Conduct regular audits and identify stock discrepancies.
• Oversee purchasing of depot equipment and general orders.
• Coach and develop depot staff and maintain training records.
• Allocate and process assets on Hire Contracts.

We are in search of a dynamic Fulfilment and Asset Manager to play a key part in assisting lour Regional Service Centre to success.If you have a proven track record of overseeing warehouse functions, managing costs, and maintaining operational standards, we want to hear from you.

Fulfilment and Asset Manager - Milton Keynes - Monday to Friday 42 Hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that the depot is performing against all agreed targets/budgets and manage all costs within
• To always maintain exemplary standards of operation and aesthetic appearance
• Ensuring that the depot is performing against all agreed targets/budgets and managing all costs within
• Ensuring that all aspects of work and process are carried out in-line with Health and Safety guidelines
• Ownership of stock/ itemised, non-itemised, transfers/ ARP process
• Conduct regular audit and inspections to identify issues or stock discrepancies
• Responsible for overseeing purchasing of all depot equipment, tools and general orders
• Recruitment, coaching and providing feedback to depot employees and ensuring that all training and development needs are met - conducting timely job chats, training and development records, all in accordance with the Speedy Career Journey
• Responsible for allocating and processing of assets on Hire Contracts
