Job summary

A1 Personnel is seeking a Fuels Technician in Thurrock to join a specialist Technical Services team working on bespoke fuel formulations for the Oil Majors and Automotive industries. You will manage multiple technical projects, formulate and test fuel blends, and troubleshoot production and formulation issues while supporting sourcing, testing and approval of raw materials.

The role requires a chemistry degree and 2+ years laboratory experience, with strong analytical skills, attention to detail

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or equivalent – essential.
• 2+ years' laboratory experience, ideally with fuel testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong HSE focus.
