Job summary

Ensignbus is seeking a Fueller to join the Maintenance team at the Purfleet depot. You will fuel the fleet, ensuring vehicles are ready for service and cleaned through the bus wash, working with the Engineering team to comply with safety regulations.

You will also develop technical skills as required. The role operates on a 4 on 3 off pattern from 16:00 to 03:25, with a pay rate of £13.47 per hour and overtime at £14.71.

Qualifications

• Good IT literacy preferred.
• Teamwork in a busy maintenance environment.
• Some bus knowledge beneficial.
• UK driving licence may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Fuel the fleet and ensure vehicles are ready for service.
• Work with the maintenance team and bus wash to process vehicles.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and support engineering colleagues.
• Maintain PPE and develop technical skills as required.

Ensignbus is the multi award bus company running the majority of bus services in Thurrock as well as operating Rail Replacement services, Private Charter services for schools, football teams, and corporate clients and extensive use of heritage vehicles from our depot in Purfleet. In addition, we are one of the largest second-hand bus dealers in the UK and carry out bespoke conversion and refurbishment work for clients of all kinds.

We are now looking for a Fueller to join the busy and energetic Maintenance team atour Ensignbus Depot in Purfleet, to help look after our fleet of vehicles.

Key Details:

• £13.47 per hour
• £14.71 overtime rate
• 4 on 3 off
• 16:00pm-03:25am

In this role you'll be responsible for fuelling our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are ready for service or maintenance. You'll work as part of a team to ensure the fleet meets service requirements and processing through the bus wash. Health and Safety is key in this role, working alongside our Engineering team to comply with all legislation. You'll also maintain and develop technical skills as required.

What We're Looking For

• Do you enjoy working as part of a team?

• Some bus knowledge would be beneficial
• Do you have a valid UK driving license? Not essential but beneficial
