Job summary

RHL Recruitment is seeking an Operator to support safe, continuous aviation fuel operations on a site near Howden, North Yorkshire. The role is a long term PAYE contract based at the Rawcliffe pipeline/terminal site with 24/7 day/night shifts, 8-4 patterns, and a rate of £20 per hour PAYE.

You will handle pipeline receipts, tank transfers, road tanker receipt/loading, jetty operations where applicable, quality sampling, permit-to-work and safety checks, with strong emphasis on compliance and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in process/electrical/mechanical.
• GCSE Maths & English (A–C) or equivalent.
• Shift operations experience in a regulated environment (COMAH/PPC or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence and basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• pipeline receipts, tank transfers, road tanker receipt/loading (and jetty operations where applicable).
• sampling/quality checks, accurate record keeping, permit-to-work, gas testing and isolation checks.
• support SHE audits and clear shift handovers.
• Fuel storage depot pipeline maintenance and operations; issuing permits to work for subbies.
