Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Solihull invites applications for a Maintenance and Calibration Test Facility Engineer (Fuel Systems) to support the Test Facility and Asset Management team. You will define, implement, and schedule preventative maintenance and calibration for plant, fuel rigs and auxiliary equipment within the Fuel System Test department.

You will work autonomously at times and collaborate with cross-functional teams, engaging with senior stakeholders and driving improvements while ensuring

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering or higher.
• Experience using CMMS systems (Maximo).
• Experience in asset and contractor management.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electronic systems and schematics.
• Ability to plan, manage changes and use IT tools like Excel.
• SC clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the maintenance and calibration strategy for the department.
• Schedule maintenance and calibration activities using Maximo and IndySoft.
• Create and maintain specifications for external service providers.
• Develop and maintain instructions, processes, RAMS, and technical files.
• Manage external contractors and review RAMS/insurance documents.
• Develop framework contracts and SLAs for providers.
• Manage spares and stock control, procurement and obsolescence.
• Ensure activities comply with Health & Safety standards.
• Create and deliver training for internal teams.
• Manage updates to drawings and BOM through change control.
