Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Solihull is seeking a Maintenance and Calibration Test Facility Engineer to join the Fuel System Test department. This permanent role covers maintenance, calibration, and asset management for test facilities and plant equipment.

You will define maintenance strategies, coordinate external contractors, and ensure safety and documentation standards are met. The position offers day shifts with eventual rotation and a shift allowance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical engineering is preferred but not essential.
• Experience using CMMS systems (Maximo) is required/advantageous.
• Experience in asset management and contractor management is preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electronic systems and the ability to read technical drawings/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver maintenance and calibration strategy aligned to budget.
• Determine activities to be done internally or via external service providers.
• Schedule maintenance/calibration using Maximo and IndySoft; manage calendars.
