Job Description:

Contract for our OEM in Peterborough. If you are an Air Fuel Development Engineer, then this is for you. You would be joining the Component Engineering department, designing and developing air and fuel system components across new and current products.

To be successful, you will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent knowledge/experience).
• 6-8 years of engineering or relevant experience.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, engine components, and system development.
• Good understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage and deliver complex projects.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork.
• Expertise in fuel systems, air systems, EGR systems, turbochargers, performance, and data analysis.
• Experience leading and participating in APQP, FMEA, DVP&R.
• Engineering experience in the off-highway diesel engine sector.
• Experience designing or specifying components and systems in 3D CAD (PTC Creo) and Siemens Teamcenter PLM software.

This is an onsite role. Candidates with backgrounds in off-highway, automotive, or heavy-duty diesel engines will be considered.
