Job summary

The OPA is recruiting a Depot Operator to be based at the OFD, Thanckes, Torpoint, Cornwall, to safely receive, store and supply middle distillate fuels for HM Navy and other OPA customers. You will work as part of a team with a strong focus on COMAH compliance, safety, and the ability to stay calm and effective in emergencies.

A full driving licence is preferred, and occasional travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• COMAH-regulated site; strong safety focus is essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team to ensure safe receipt, storage and supply of fuels.
• Calm and effective in difficult or emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive, store and supply middle distillate fuels for HM Navy and other OPA customers.
• Provide normal day-to-day OFD support operations.
