Job summary

GoFibre Limited is hiring an FTTP Install Engineer to join our growing field team. You will deliver safe, high-quality fibre installations for homes and businesses, both outdoors and on customer sites.

The role requires hands-on fibre installation experience, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety. A full UK driving licence and NRSWA are essential.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning FTTP broadband services.
• Fibre cabling, blowing, splicing and termination activities.
• Testing and fault-finding using OTDR and fibre testing equipment.
• Working on overhead and underground PIA networks.
• Completing site surveys and installation documentation.
• Maintaining high Health & Safety standards at all times.
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience during every visit.
• Ensuring all work is completed to company and industry standards.

What you'll be doing

As an FTTP Install Engineer, you'll play a key role in connecting homes and businesses to GoFibre's full fibre network. Working independently and alongside colleagues, you'll be responsible for delivering safe, professional and high-quality installations from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and commissioning FTTP broadband services
• Fibre cabling, blowing, splicing and termination activities
• Testing and fault-finding using OTDR and fibre testing equipment
• Working on overhead and underground PIA networks
• Completing site surveys and installation documentation
• Maintaining high Health & Safety standards at all times
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience during every visit
• Ensuring all work is completed to company and industry standards

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who already has hands-on experience within fibre installation and can confidently work in both customer-facing and network environments.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience working on FTTP networks
• Fibre splicing and testing experience
• Knowledge of overhead and underground network installation
• Experience using OTDR and fibre testing equipment
• Working at Height experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Great communication and customer service skills
