Job summary

An award-winning telecoms company in Scotland is seeking a Telecoms Fibre Engineer. The role involves completing fibre installations and repairs, conducting site evaluations, and providing excellent customer service. Applicants should have a full UK driver's license and experience with fibre installations. First-day training is mandatory at a national centre, and physical requirements include lifting and climbing. There's great potential for earnings based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driver's license with no more than 6 points.
• Experience in overhead/underground fibre installations is required.
• Holder of SA001, SA002 and NRSWA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Complete fibre installations and repairs.
• Conduct site inspection evaluations including traffic management.
• Respond to customer requests and enquiries professionally.
• Receive training and ongoing support throughout the role.

Telecoms fibre engineer will be working from a rate card, if you work hard and put in the effort there is no cap on their earnings.

Job Description

• Completing Fibre Installations
• Overhead / Underground jobs
• Completing Fibre Surveying / Repairing Orders
• You will be given full and continuous training in this role, and support throughout your working day.
• Site Inspection Evaluations Including, Traffic Management to be conducted
• Respond professionally and effectively to all customer requests and enquiries

Key Requirements

• Full UK driver's license with no more than 6 points on.
• Experience in Overhead / Underground fibre installations
• Hold full SA001 , SA002 , NRSWA (Is preffered)

Training Provided

If you are successful in your application, your first day of engagement will be at one of our national training centres to complete your training.

Full attendance every day, Monday to Friday, is mandatory, missing days is not an option, as it will affect your ability to complete the course and progress within the role into your buddy period.
