The role
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Associate to join PwC’s Banking and Capital Markets Tax team, working across various areas with a focus on Asset Finance & Leasing Tax (“AF&L”). We seek high-quality candidates motivated to work within the sector, capable of handling both flexible and technical demands.
PwC’s Asset Finance & Leasing Tax group advises a range of institutions, including banks, manufacturers, financial institutions, private equity, and rolling stock leasing companies, serving as subject matter experts for PwC.
The AF&L group offers commercial and tax advisory services, focusing on transaction diligence, transaction structuring, and lease-related tax advisory.
What your days will look like
You will work across various clients and services, with opportunities to collaborate directly with partners and directors. There is potential to work closely with other PwC lines of service—Audit, Consulting, Deals, and Risk—as well as with the international PwC network.
You will be encouraged to develop client relationships, lead teams, innovate work methods, and utilize new technologies.
This role is for you if
You possess an ACA or CTA qualification (or equivalent), or have equivalent work experience, including international candidates qualifying through experience. You should have the ability to develop yourself and others, a strong interest in Asset Finance & Leasing, Credit, or Infrastructure sectors, and a desire for a permanent career in tax. Excellent interpersonal skills, numeracy, literacy, and confidence with accounting concepts (including tax accounting) are essential.
