About the role

We are currently recruiting a Senior Associate to join PwC's Banking and Capital Markets Tax team, focusing on Asset Finance & Leasing Tax ("AF&L"). We seek high-quality candidates motivated to work within this sector, capable of handling both flexible and technical demands.

PwC's Asset Finance & Leasing Tax group advises a diverse range of institutions, including banks, manufacturers, financial institutions, private equity, and rolling stock leasing companies. We also serve as subject matter experts for broader PwC initiatives.

The AF&L group supports clients with a variety of commercial and tax advisory services, emphasizing transaction diligence, transaction structuring, and lease-related tax advisory services.

What your days will look like

1. Work across a broad client base and service offerings, with opportunities to collaborate directly with partners and directors.
2. Potential to work closely with other PwC lines of service—Audit, Consulting, Deals, and Risk—as well as with the international PwC network.
3. Develop your client relationships, lead teams, innovate work methods, and explore new uses of technology.

This role is for you if

1. You possess an ACA or CTA qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience, including international candidates qualifying through experience in their home country.
2. You can develop yourself and others.
3. You have a strong interest in the Asset Finance & Leasing, Credit, or Infrastructure sectors.
4. You are motivated for a permanent career in tax.
5. You possess excellent interpersonal skills.
6. You are both numerate and literate.
7. You are confident with accounting concepts, ideally including tax accounting.
