Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Trader with wholesale fresh produce experience, ideally in fruit, to manage relationships with customers and suppliers and drive profitability across the fruit category. The role offers hybrid working with office days and home-based days and a discretionary annual bonus.

In this position you will support day-to-day trading, forecast and report on performance, and collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Operations and Logistics to ensure efficient delivery and strong

Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale fresh produce or fruit trading.
• Strong ability to build and manage customer and supplier relationships.
• Commercial mindset with ability to identify opportunities and drive profit.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with wholesale customers and fresh produce suppliers.
• Support trading and commercial management of the fruit category.
• Monitor trading performance and identify commercial opportunities.
• Assist with forecasting, pricing, stock planning and reporting.
• Support customer meetings and supplier reviews.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
