Job summary

Siamo Group is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Driver for a frozen environment in Bridgwater. You will move, store and retrieve stock safely and accurately, using a reach truck and LLOP where required.

Typical duties include loading/unloading, checking goods, maintaining stock integrity, and adhering to food safety and health and safety standards. Monday to Friday, 8am–2pm shift. Previous frozen warehouse experience is essential.

Qualifications

• YOU MUST HAVE previous experience in a frozen warehouse environment.
• A current reach truck licence and proven experience operating a reach truck.
• Experience using a LLOP is an advantage.
• Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures, food safety and health and safety requirements.
• Good communication, organisation and numeracy skills.
• The ability to work accurately, meet deadlines and contribute effectively to a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck safely and confidently to move, store and retrieve stock in a freezer.
• Place goods in and remove goods from racking, including at height, following site procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles and move stock to the correct warehouse or dispatch areas.
• Check product, packaging and labels when handling goods, and report damage or discrepancies.
• Keep stock secure and maintain product quality in line with food safety requirements.
