Job summary

Siamo Group is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Driver to operate in a frozen warehouse environment in Bridgwater. You will move, store and retrieve stock, ensuring accuracy and compliance with food safety standards.

Role requires a current reach truck licence and familiarity with safety procedures. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 14:00, offering a stable day shift within a reputable client operations team.

Qualifications

• Must have previous reach truck experience in a frozen warehouse.
• Current reach truck licence is required.
• Experience using a LLOP is an advantage.
• Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures, food safety and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck safely to move, store and retrieve stock in a freezer.
• Place goods in and remove goods from racking, including at height, following site procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles and move stock to the correct warehouse or dispatch areas.
• Check product, packaging and labels, and report damage or discrepancies.
• Keep stock secure and maintain product quality in line with food safety requirements.

Location: Bridgwater | Reach Truck Driver

Siamo Group are currently working with a well-known, prestigious client based in Bridgwater to assist with recruiting an experienced Reach Truck Driver to work in a frozen environment.

You’ll use your reach truck skills to move, store and retrieve stock accurately, while maintaining high standards of safety, care and efficiency.

Working hours and days: Monday-Friday, 8am-2pm.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck safely and confidently to move, store and retrieve stock in a freezer.
• Place goods in and remove goods from racking, including at height, following site procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles and move stock to the correct warehouse or dispatch areas.
• Check product, packaging and labels when handling goods, and report damage or discrepancies.
• Keep stock secure and maintain product quality in line with food safety requirements.Skills and experience

• YOU MUST HAVE previous experience in a frozen warehouse environment.
• A current reach truck licence and proven experience operating a reach truck.
• Experience using a LLOP is an advantage.
• Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures, food safety and health and safety requirements.
• Good communication, organisation and numeracy skills.
• The ability to work accurately, meet deadlines and contribute effectively to a team.
