Asda in Leeds is recruiting a Trading Manager to own the Frozen category, driving growth and profitability across suppliers and internal teams. You will lead category strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and translate market insights into effective trading plans.

You will partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing to deliver value for customers while maximising commercial performance. Hybrid working and strong benefits apply.

• Significant experience in commercial trading, buying or category management.
• Proven negotiation skills with supplier partners and internal teams.
• Track record of managing budgets and P&L performance.
• Strong analytical capability to turn data into actions.
• Excellent stakeholder management across levels and functions.
• Customer-focused mindset with retail market awareness.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end trading performance for the Frozen category, driving sales and profitability.
• Develop and execute category plans aligned with commercial strategy.
• Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, promotions, assortment and investments.
• Manage category P&L and balance customer value with returns.
• Analyse market trends and insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Build supplier partnerships and joint business plans for long-term success.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative initiatives and better customer experiences.
