Alliance Automotive Logistics in Rotherham is seeking a First Line Manager to lead Supervisors and teams, translating strategic goals into actionable plans while upholding safety and efficiency. You will drive daily warehouse operations and KPI performance across a 5-day week.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in a high-volume distribution environment, and proficiency in WMS and MS Office. A focus on continuous improvement and staff development is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; advanced certifications in logistics advantageous.
• Experience: extensive warehouse experience with at least two years in a management or team leadership role.
• Skills: strong leadership, proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Office, analytical skills, excellent communication, health and safety knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, inventory control and despatch.
• Track KPIs like pick accuracy, productivity and on-time despatch; review performance with Supervisors.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and lean processes to reduce costs.
• Enforce health and safety standards; conduct risk assessments and audits.
• Develop and mentor Supervisors; support staffing and succession planning.
