Job summary

You will investigate highway-related offences, gather evidence, and take regulatory action while working with residents, businesses and partners to improve safety and compliance on Birmingham’s streets.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Good judgement and the confidence to handle challenging situations
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate highway offences and gather evidence for regulatory action
• Address obstructions and unlawful occupation of the highway
• Monitor permits and licences and prepare case files for proceedings
• Deliver frontline enforcement activity across Birmingham
