A leading company in Cheltenham is seeking a Frontline Engineer Lead to provide technical support for secure cloud infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting, leading teams, and mentoring junior engineers. The secure cloud infrastructure support team in Cheltenham uses cutting-edge cloud technologies to support Critical National Infrastructure in an internet-disconnected environment. You will support day-to-day operations and provide first-level infrastructure and platform engineering support to a secure government client.
This team operates a 24/7/365 rota, with shift premiums for unsociable hours. The role may require regular travel to sites near London during the first 6-12 months for training and transition.
